How do I try the validator without a workbook?
Select “Try invalid example” to check a fictional campaign with one campaign row, one ad-group row, and one ad row. You should see three errors and no warnings. Select “Try corrected example” to run the same field checks after those three values are corrected; the result should be zero errors and zero warnings.
The examples use placeholder destinations on example.com and are not ready-to-run ads. Built-in examples exercise field validation. Uploading an actual .xlsx file additionally checks its archive, sheets, and supported spreadsheet features.

What the local check covers
The validator checks the campaigns, adgroups, and ads sheets, required headers, nonempty rows, parent references, duplicate names, decimal amounts, supported objective labels, context-hint JSON, URLs, and text lengths. It also flags formulas and unsupported workbook features rather than evaluating spreadsheet code.
Use a values-only copy of the supplied template. A local pass means the inspected fields passed these checks; it does not establish that the platform will accept the campaign.
What still needs account review
The public tool cannot verify advertiser eligibility, live account limits, destination availability, image approval, or feature access. It does not submit an OpenAI validation request or create campaign objects.
The workspace compiler applies the actual account’s settings and current import rules. Read its errors and warnings, including the limited-preview bulk path’s restrictions, before preparing a change.
When should I move from the free check to Advarde?
Use this free tool to find structural and field mistakes without signing in. Move to the authenticated workspace when you need to validate against a connected account, prepare a reviewable import, and retain the change and its result. A local pass is preparation evidence; it does not confirm account eligibility, platform acceptance, or ad approval.
Resolve issues without losing the original
Keep the original workbook and correct a copy. Start with missing sheets and headers, then fix parent references and values. Download the local issue report if another teammate needs to make the corrections.
After a platform import, retain the submitted version and resource IDs. Reconcile partial or uncertain results before retrying; this public validator does not know which objects already exist in an account.
Common questions
Does the free workbook validator upload my file?
No. Your workbook is read and checked in the browser. The tool does not submit it to Advarde or an advertising account.
Can a workbook pass here and fail during import?
Yes. This tool checks the supported workbook structure and field values. Account-specific restrictions, platform validation, destination availability, and creative approval require separate checks.
Do the examples create campaigns?
No. They validate synthetic rows locally. Neither the examples nor an uploaded workbook can create or activate campaigns through this public tool.
